Tickets are now on sale for The Sound of Musical Theatre Company’s upcoming production of West-End and Broadway hit ‘Legally Blonde’.
The musical is a fabulously fun adaptation of the original 2001 hit film which will take to the Lowther Pavilion stage between Thursday 3rd and Saturday 5th March 2022.
Legally Blonde the Musical, follows the transformation of a young lady as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
Elle Woods‘ life is turned upside-down when her boyfriend dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law School. Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into the same class. At first she struggles, but Elle quickly realises her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.
This action-packed musical explodes on the stage with memorable songs and dynamic dances. Equal parts hilarious and heart-warming, this ultimate feel-good musical comedy promises to provide a fun-filled evening for all ages.
Leading the show as Elle is 18-year-old Catherine McGinty, a dance and singing student at Clifton Academy, who is currently auditioning at some of the most prestigious musical theatre schools in the UK. Catherine will be supported by Theo Heavyside, Bethan Palmer, Joanna Challenger and Nick Godfrey, all hoping to pursue careers in musical theatre.
‘Legally Blonde’ also has a full chorus who have been working with musical director Joseph Appleton and choreographers Amy Appleton and Sarah Cosgrove. The company cannot wait to present their 2022 musical.
