Blackpools Voice outreach service desperate for foodbank donations.

Can you help?

It’s a tough time of year for many people, just after Christmas, increased gas and electric charges, food prices rising. Blackpools Voice knows this better than any local outreach service, and they are struggling to meet demand for families in crisis needing support with basic food parcels.

If you can help in any way, with a donation of ‘foodbank’ items, or a monetary donation, please contact Sue at Blackpools Voice.

The sort of items ideally needed would be non perishable, and in best before date by at least 1 month. Easy to prepare, and quick to cook meals are extremely useful, ravioli, beans and sausage, tinned stew, fruit, veg or meat, tuna, pot noodles, pasta meals, cereal, tea, coffee, biscuits, long life milk, jam, crackers, packed lunch items, cordial, toiletries, instant gravy, ketchup and mayonnaise are also most welcome!

Can you help at all??

  1. Blackpools Voice is an amazing charity in Blackpool that does so much to help those in need and not just with food but mental health, sign posting and so much more. It receives very little media attention and financiers unlike other charities in Blackpool. They receive no funding from the council and rely solely on donations and work many many hours.

  2. Fabulous charity, run by Amazing people.
Underfunded, yet still reach out to so many in need, from food bank to benefit advice,to Mental Health support & Care.
Nothing is too much for them, they give their all,yet get so little help.
Please, please, please give them the essential funding they need & deserve.

  3. They do a terrific job, but to be honest, without funding or donations, cannot keep going. Drop off to Blackpool’s Voice Monday to Saturday 12 to 4pm.
Or if in Bispham message Amber Brierley, and I will be more than happy to take donations in. Messages welcome .x
