Brilliant idea from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service 🔥

Bonfire night this year will be a bit of damp squib, with covid lockdown restrictions forbidding organised bonfires and fireworks displays.

Household mixing is banned, inside homes or even gardens, meaning we can’t invite our friends or family round beyond our bubble.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, have, however, come up with a brilliant idea so that you can stay home, stay safe, save money and still enjoy a dazzling firework display!!

Taken from the official site, there’s loads of fire prevention and safety tips, and a link to a virtual firework display. 👇

“This year things are set to look a little different for bonfire night and since organised events are off and lockdown is on we’ve got a whole web page dedicated to fire safety advice, top tips, colouring and more.

Of course, if doing your own fireworks sounds like an awful lot of effort, you can sit back and let us do all the hard work for you. You just need to tune into our facebook page at 6:30pm on Thursday for our virtual bonfire and fireworks display.”

Great idea from the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, stay safe everyone 😊
