There will be no green bin collections over the Christmas and New Year period, from Monday 20 December 2021 to Monday 3rd January 2022.

We will be resuming green bin collections from Tuesday 4 January 2022.

And please (to those who have one) recycle your real Christmas tree. A number of free drop off points will be set up around the borough from 4th to 13th January 2022 to recycle your real Christmas tree.

Please remember to place the tree inside the designated barriers at one of these locations www.fylde.gov.uk/Christmas

Alternatively, if you have subscribed to this year’s green bin collections, chop up your real tree and place it inside the green bin or you can take it to the Household Waste Recycling Centre located on Saltcotes Road, Lytham.
