Multiple kids were reported lost over the weekend on the Fylde coast. We reported previously that the HM COASTGUARD LYTHAM had been called out many times over the sunny Bank Holiday Weekend.

From Fylde Police – The sun is shining, and we are all ready to enjoy a day out at the beach. However, yesterday we received a high number of calls regarding missing children.
These are some simple security measure that could put into place:
•Don’t let your child walk to the sea line on their own. The sea is much further that it appears, and the tides can change quickly.
•Arrange a meeting point with your family in case any family member goes missing.
•Consider writing your phone number on your child’s wrist or on a wristband they could wear.
•Take a picture of your child at the start of the day. This is in case they do get lost and police can then identify the missing child’s appearance.
