A 54-year-old man has been remanded to appear before Preston Crown Court after being arrested by officers from Blackpool’s targeted crime team.
We were contacted on Saturday, July 3, after a burglary at a house in Henry Street, Lytham, in which items including bank cards were stolen.
We identified Ian Rimmer, of Osbourne Road, Blackpool, as a suspect, and he was arrested on July 6.
He’s been charged with burglary and fraudulent use of credit cards, together with a separate offence of theft of a wood carving from a shop in Cleveleys.
On Friday, July, 8, Rimmer appeared before Blackpool Magistrates Court and was remanded to appear at Preston Crown Court on August 10.
