Blackpool’s Britannia Metropole Hotel Once Again Welcoming Bookings From Paying Guests

The Metropole Hotel is once again advertising the availability of accommodation for paying guests for the Spring 2022 season. The hotel situated on a prime location of Princess Parade has been closed to the public over the late autumn and winter season. The last review for the Metropole on Trip Advisor was back in 2021 when Pam J Scott wrote: ‘For some reason this hotel cancelled our booking 3 days before we were due to go in September 2021’ whilst another guest wrote ‘Tried to get a room but was turned away because they are no longer functioning as a hotel.’

Today (21st March 2022) reservations can once again be made directly with Britannia Hotels, or on third party on-line sites such as Booking.com and Opodo.

For example. the cost of a standard double room which is available to book for two nights (arriving on Friday 22nd April and departing on Sunday 24th April) for two adults is £378 (at the time of writing). Breakfast at the Metropole is an additional £12.

In their advertisement, Booking.com say that the traditional rooms at the Grand Metropole Hotel each have a private bathroom. All rooms have a TV and tea and coffee facilities, and some have uninterrupted views across the Irish Sea.

Meanwhile, for those on a tighter budget Britannia’s Norbreck Castle Hotel offers a cheaper deal (see below).
