Four Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder Following Fatal Stabbing In Blackpool Earlier Today

Police have appealed for information to assist their murder investigation following the fatal stabbing of a man in Carshalton Road, Blackpool at around 1 a.m. in the early hours of today (Monday 11th July). Emergency services attended and the man was rushed to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he later died. Carshalton Road was cordoned off near Dickson Road Car Sales by Police

Four people, two men aged 40 and 42 and two women aged 38 and 43, have since been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police confirmed, “We were called around 1am today (Monday, July 11) to a report of an assault in Carshalton Road, Blackpool. It was reported a man had been attacked in the street suffering serious injuries. Emergency services attended with the man taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for treatment where he sadly later died. A murder investigation has been launched and enquiries are ongoing. Four people are under arrest on suspicion of murder – two men aged 40 and 42 and two women aged 38 and 43. They are currently in police custody.’

The spokesperson continued, ‘We are appealing to anyone with information, or anyone who may have CCTV footage of the area, to come forward.’
