Over 200 Iconic, Retro & Modern Arcade Machines From Five Gaming Decades At Blackpool’s New ‘Arcade Club’

The much-anticipated ‘Arcade Club’ opened its doors in Blackpool for the very first time this weekend.

The plush venue on Bloomfield Road features over 200 working retro and modern ‘free to play’ arcade and pinball machines across five decades of gaming. The entry price of £16 per adult, £8 per child or £40 for a family covers access to all machines, the fully licensed bar and two gaming lounges. Gamers, families and friends looking for fun and nostalgia are invited to relive iconic games like Pac Man, Space Invaders, Outrun, Time Crisis and all the favourite games from the 80s and 90s, plus modern classics such as House of the Dead 5, Luigi’s Mansion, Air Hockey Basketball and Pinball.

Comments following the opening day include this from Jay Bell: ‘Arcade Club Blackpool is a world-class venue. There’s something for everybody – from ultra-rare classics to bang up-to-date, state-of-the art modern machines that you most likely won’t find anywhere else in Europe.’ And from Angharad Dunn: ‘My husband and I came last night it was absolutely brilliant! So much choice of games, the bar prices were normal and the staff were all lovely.’
