Fylde Police have noted that they have seen an increase in numbers of the public in Lytham Square and around Lytham Green. They say this may be due to the good weather which is due to continue over the next few days,. This coming weekend, the Police say that they will  continue to take a common sense, proportionate approach as they have since the pandemic started and add: ”We’ve done our best to help people follow the rules and show compassion for those in difficulty whilst also enforcing the law where the public would rightly expect us to. Officers will be in the area this weekend, please don’t be offended if we stop to talk to you.’
