TESCO LORRY WAS ROBBED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT 😳

Cigarettes and tobacco were pilfered.

Fylde Police have released and appeal for information regarding a very cheeky heist last Friday morning.

Did you see anything? Can you help?

We are appealing for witnesses after thieves broke into a wagon whilst on its journey to a local supermarket.

It happened at around 10am on Friday (May 14th) when a Tesco HGV, destined to go to Blackpool, was being driven along the A585 Fleetwood Road.

At some point between the Shell Garage close to Greenhalgh Lane and the Windy Harbour lights, the driver has stopped to let a vehicle turn. It is thought that the wagon was then broken into via the back doors.

Thieves stole thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes and tobacco.

We are asking anyone who was travelling in the area and saw what happened to get in touch. If you think you witnessed the incident unfold, or you have any dash cam footage, please get in contact on 101 quoting incident reference 394 of May 14th or you can email 8060@lancashire.police.uk
