The newly refurbished RSPB Fairhaven Lake Visitors Centre and shop officially opened today (Thursday 29th April) – and everyone there is really looking forward to welcoming friends old and new! The centre has been brilliantly transformed and is truly engaging and interactive – whilst still being rooted in its traditional values. The Park Ambassador Volunteers are also ready to go and the new heritage trail boards are in place (photograph below).

The message from the Centre is, ‘Why not call in for a hot drink and a chat whilst catching up on all the developments down here?’

Meanwhile, the contractors Horticon are back on site finishing the Japanese Garden this week (photograph below). The footpath adjacent to the garden will be closed today and tomorrow (Friday) while the works are completed.
