The St.Anne’s September Spectacular promises to be an amazing event over five days to he hosted in the splendour of Ashton Gardens. There is a wealth of performances, events and activities for old and young alike in the brilliant Big Top.
The fun begins on Wednesday 8th September when the extravaganza of entertainment is headlined by High Jinx (see poster below) who will be presenting two 45 minute shows – and both are free of charge!
Thursday and Friday also see aa awesome selection of events before a BIG weekend……
Saturday 11th September promises a brilliant 8 hours of musical performance beginning at Noon with Mike Taylor, Old Rope, Gemma Hart, Stephen Lea, Cartoon Food, Emily Adams and Whistle Test with Rupert Fabulous to finish (from 6.00 p.m. – 8.00 p.m.) There’s lots of seating under cover, with food & drink outside, a secondary Acoustic Stage and a brilliant selection of activities at the Little Tent of Calm (see poster below).
Sunday 12th September will be BIG gig day in the BIG top, commencing with Ziggy Spider at noon playing classics by Bowie, T-Rex and Pink Floyd, followed by a full show from CounterpartsUK who play exclusive covers from the songbook of progressive rock legends ‘RUSH’, showcasing a set spanning the Canadian band’s career, including the whole of the iconic album ‘Moving Pictures’.
