Is this the Axe for the X?

The Times has reported the following tragic news, that many will find difficult to handle. Saturday nights just won’t be the same, and locals won’t get the chance to audition just up the road in Blackpool 😭

“Simon Cowell has cancelled The X Factor after 17 years after deciding that he wanted to save the show from becoming a “joke”, it was reported last night.

The music mogul, 61, who is focusing on a new game show project, is understood to have shelved the talent competition for at least five years. However, sources close to the pop impresario have said they believe that The X Factor is unlikely to return to UK screens.”

Blackpool lad Ryan, featured both on the X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother, and provided us with great entertainment. Cowell is thought to working on another show, but losing the X Factor will leave a huge hole in traditional Saturday night family entertainment.

No more banter between the judges, or dreadful auditions, or indeed, cheering on your favourite contestant.
