I’m a Celebrity fan favourite Jordan North – Are you supporting him?

Radio presenter Jordan North has become a fan favourite on I’m a Celebrity... Get me out of here! which is set in North Wales this year rather than Australia, due to the pandemic.

Following Jordan’s somewhat dramatic entrance into the camp where, upon learning that this year’s campmates would have to abseil off a cliff to enter the camp, his face dropped. He panicked as he shared with viewers that he had vertigo, and proceeded to vomit before he’d even reached the camp!

“I’ve only been here five minutes and I’m puking already,” he exclaimed.

Since he ‘showed his weakness’ to viewers, Jordan has been a regular in the Bushtucker Trials this year. In Thursday’s episode he faced his 4th trial, where he had to go through an underground tunnel, lay flat on a trolley, and use a rope to move along as maggots, mealworms, crickets and cockroaches came down on him.

But who is Jordan and where does he come from?

Jordan North may not have a well known face as opposed to the other celebrities in this year’s camp, but you may recognise his voice! The fan favourite is known for presenting an array of different radio shows, starting his career very close to Lytham St Annes.

The radio star who is now 30-years-old, was born in York but moved to Preston with his family when he was a child, where as a teenager he began his career as a radio presenter on a community radio station, Preston FM, and also working part time at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach Station.

Working for various popular radio stations, Jordan has worked his way up to the top and is considered one of the UK’s most talented Radio Presenters, harbouring a knack for winning the public over with his witty quips.
