During the covid chaos, one family has had the most devastating news. A local little girl, Olivia, has been diagnosed with an inoperable tumour on her brain stem. This gives her only months to live. She is currently undergoing cancer treatment, but this is only to prolong what little time she has left with her family.
Olivia’s mum is a nurse and since the devastating news of her daughter’s illness came to light, she has not been able to work in the fear that she would bring COVID back home to Olivia, threatening her last few months.
In a bid to make Olivia’s precious last months with her family a time to remember, a fundraiser has been set up as well as an online auction page. Locals have been generously donating money to the cause, raising a whopping £15k so far of the £20k target.
The auction page is where locals and businesses have donated products and vouchers for an online auction in Olivia’s name.
