Spring has certainly been ‘in the air’ this wonderful weekend and busy shoppers will have spotted local stores bursting with chocolatey Egg displays. And with Easter in mind, the Friends of Lytham Hall have organised a special Easter Family fun-day Sunday at the historic hall with its glorious, spacious grounds!
At the break of day on Easter Sunday, 17th April, the Easter Bunny will have paid an early visit to the glorious grounds, hiding her special eggs deep in the Lytham Hall woods. She now needs children’s kind assistance to hunt out, locate and find them. And, as well as the eggs, there will be lots of friendly creatures hiding in the woods – but watch out for the fox! But wait….. here’s some very special news…. if you find some of her eggs the Easter Bunny will on hand to give out chocolate surprises.
On this special fun-day Sunday, which runs from 11.00 a.m. until 3.30 p.m., keeping the children entertained, there will be a big Bouncy Castle, cake decorating, Easter crafts, a kids tombola and a bookstall. There will also be brilliant opportunities to visit the real live giant Bunnies with the pigs and goats in the Animal Hub. The family-friendly café will be full of tasty seasonal treats and for adults the plants and antique centres will be open.
For this special Easter Sunday event adults free and children are £3 each. Paid parking is also available at Lytham Hall.
