The World Fireworks Championships are back with a bang in Blackpool tonight (Saturday 15th October). The stunning displays, which are set to music, take place over the beach in front of The Blackpool Tower.
Tonight, it’s the turn of Celtic Fireworks, from Wales, who will fire the flares and kick off the second round of the competition, sponsored by Coral Island. The event will build-up from 7.30 p.m. with the display starting at approximately 8.45 p.m. to allow for optimal beach space during low tide.
Two further dates for fireworks in Blackpool are:
- Thursday 27 October – Fireworks Factory from Finland
- Friday 28 October – Celebratory display with Titanium Fireworks
