Is outdoor drinking more expensive? One local proves it is..

Local Karl Weber has taken to Facebook to share his disappointment with local restaurant Zest. During lockdown and Tier 3, the popular restaurant have taken to providing a takeaway and delivery service, allowing locals to support the business and continue to enjoy their delicious dishes.
However, local businessman Karl Weber has caught the restaurant out for alleged dishonesty whilst serving pints of lager to the public.
In a Facebook post, Karl shared two photographs of a beverage he had purchased from the stall outside Zest. Karl shared a photograph of the paper cup he had his ‘pint’ of lager served in, after his payment of £4.50. After payment he approached Spago to ask for a plastic pint cup and poured his drink into the cup.
Dismayed that the lager didn’t even reach half way, Karl photographed his new cup with the same drink inside, displaying how he has allegedly been short-changed for his £4.50, after asking for “a pint of lager”.
Karl commented: “GREED to take out of the pockets of your local community…the very community that supports you through these times will just push our custom away.”
Harry Taylor from Nelson said “I think Zest is great and my favourite place for an outdoor drink when Christmas shopping”
