We are appealing for information following a collision in Blackpool which has left a pedestrian with serious injuries.

It occurred last night (Monday) at around 6.15pm at the junction of Springfield Road and Dickson Road, when a Mitsubishi Delica collided with a man aged in his 50s.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital, where he remains with serious injuries.

The roads were closed for several hours while specialist investigators attended.
