Fylde Police have issued an appeal regarding a lady found in Blackpool on 23rd December.

Police are appealing for information following an incident on Beresford Street, Blackpool. On Wednesday 23rd December a female was found on Beresford Street by a member of the public. The female was lying on the floor in an unconscious state and had suffered a significant head injury. We have at this time not been able to identify who the female is. We are keeping an open mind but early information suggests the injury is as a result of a fall.

We are appealing for anyone who may know who the female is or have any information regarding the incident.

She is described as a white female, around 50-60 years of age with reddish brown hair. She was wearing brown slippers, glasses, a green Christmas jumper, a blue dressing gown and a blue bobble hat.
