Wreaths have already been laid on Friday, at the cenotaph in Lytham Market Square. It’s understood that organised gatherings won’t be taking place, but that people may mark their respects individually, and observing social distancing measures on Remembrance Sunday, 2020.

Wreaths from the Royal British Legion, and also from Lancashire Constabulary amongst others laid at the base of the cenotaph, are a proud and powerful image.

A scaled down version of the usual parade in London is also due to be televised tomorrow morning.
