You can expect some delays.

From Fylde Council – As part of the £5m improvements being made to Common Edge Road sports pitches and the new changing rooms and pavilion, upgrades to the surrounding roads are planned to improve access, making it better and safer for local residents and sporting clubs using the new facilities.

Before the main works can take place, some investigation work needs to be done to check the drainage, utilities and the road foundations. These will take place on Wednesday 16th February and Thursday 17th February 2022.

‼There will be activity on Queensway, Common Edge Road and Division Lane (FY4 5DY) between the off-peak hours of 9am-3pm, to help keep congestion at a minimum‼

Temporary traffic signals and stop/go boards will be in place to help the flow of traffic in the area and keep it safe for all.
