Get the tissues ready… This is so sweet ❤️

Lytham St.Annes RNLI have shared a delightful letter of thanks 😍

💛Mystery Letter intrigues Lifeboat Volunteers💛

A colourful drawing and thank you to the Lifeboat Crew was pushed under the door of the Lifeboat Souvenir Shop on South Promenade recently and found by the Shop Volunteers the next time they opened up. It was gratefully received by all at the Lytham St Annes RNLI Station. The thanks were from Megan for “…saving my dad….” but with no further details or name.

This leaves the Volunteer Crew with no idea who, what or when this refers to but they are more than happy to have been of service. The Sea Charity’s Lifeboats are ready for emergencies twenty four hours a day and numerous services occur, especially in the summer months. This letter has intrigued the Crew who are very grateful to Megan but they now wonder which rescue it refers to.

Station Coxswain Tom Stuart said, “Thank you Megan, it is kind of you to think of us with your delightful letter. Without further details however we have no idea of which lifeboat service this was. Your drawing has taken pride of place on our notice board in the Crew Room to be seen and enjoyed by all. Thank you.”

So who is Megan? Does anyone know?
