Over 80 Easter eggs collected for Homestart by Hungry Monkey and Bonney Fabrics and Wool!!

Eggcellent result ladies, and thank you to everyone who donated πŸ‘

Although the Easter Trail organised by the Making memories in St Anne’s team was postponed, 2 of the team behind the initiative organised an Easter Egg collection, to be handed over to Homestart – a local charity that does fantastic outreach work with local families.

Amanda from the Hungry Monkey sandwich shop, and Linda from Bonney Fabrics and Wool were ‘drop off points’ and they aimed for 100 eggs. Marc Bennett kindly donated several, and the rest were dropped in by kind members of the public, and our regular supporters of the Trails.

In the end just over 80 were received, and handed over to the Homestart co-ordinator, Dona Louise Kirkham, so that she can distribute them to local children within families that they are supporting. What a brilliant result, and a huge thank you to Amanda, Linda, and to every one who made a donation, it’s a lovely thing to do, the children will be delighted πŸ‘‹πŸ£
