Driving through large puddles might seem like fun for the driver of a vehicle, but splashing a pedestrian is actually an illegal driving offence, punishable by a hefty fine.

One Lytham St.Annes mum vents her rage on a local page – “Can the people driving past Ashton garden entrance be a little more considerate there is a large puddle probably the length of a bus and drivers are splashing pedestrians as they’re walking past. I got wet as did my son in his pushchair even though I tried to dodge it!! “

So please drive with caution, don’t be driving through puddles where pedestrians are walking!!
