Reunited, lost for 3 over years!!

Local lady finds and cares for cat that she found, with a very happy ending!

What a lovely story!! Local lady and mum of 3, Collete found a cat outside Lidl in Lytham yesterday. She appealed on a local Facebook group, and took the cat home for the evening, hoping the owner could reclaim it. She contacted a local animal rescue service, who attended and scanned the cat, hoping it was chipped, to find the owners details.

Homeward Bound attended, scanned, and were ecstatic, as the cat was chipped, and owners details were up to date!!

Official statement from Homeward Bound – Here is a happy tale to start your day. Homeward Bound were called out to a cat found by Lidl in Lytham and our volunteer Kim Millard attended. Luckily, puss was chipped and when I checked the database kitty was marked as missing! He has been missing from Cumbria for over 3 years!!!
Needless to say, the owners are ecstatic “It’s like winning the lottery” the owner said through tears of joy.
Homeward Bound will foster him until his owner can travel to collect him. Happy endings 🧡 Thank you to the finder Colette Nolan for keeping him safe 🧡
