Despite having to close during Lockdown 2.0, a children’s shoe shop in Lytham displays a fine tribute.

Stampede always have a beautiful window display, but the dignity and simplicity of this particular wreath is especially poignant, as they have taken the time to show their respect, even when faced with temporary lockdown closure.

Remembrance Sunday is this coming Sunday, and although many typical matches and gatherings are forbidden or cancelled this year, it’s nice to acknowledge people paying their respects in different ways. Well done Stampede!
