A mystery local lady has been bringing much needed joy to the town, by knitting intricate toppers for post boxes!!

Some of her creations feature local landmarks such as the iconic Lytham Windmill, a tea party, a sunshine, and now, on Woodlands Road Ansdell, an angry looking seagull scowling at an assortment of litter !

Some residents call this “yarn bombing”, or crochet art, but we think it’s wonderfully talented, and definitely bringing a smile to people’s faces 😊😊
