After the closure of schools during lockdown, many parents have struggled to keep their children interested in learning. It’s been hard enough motivating ourselves to work let along the kids. And that’s okay!

A home based summer school in Lytham St Annes is opening up and offering a solution, with fun learning and tutoring to help your children get back on track.

The summer school are offering 1:1 lessons at home, or with friends if they are a similar age and in the same social bubble. The programme will be personalised for each child depending on the subject(s) and how the child learns best.

Younger children could experience outdoor ‘nature lessons’, this option will allow children to experience learning in a fun and interesting environment – as many children struggle in a classroom. Other activities such as collecting plant species and creating educational scrapbooks, will be included in lesson plans.

The goal is to help children have fun learning and build interests in educational subjects on a 1:1 basis. If your child would prefer to learn with friends (provided they are from the same social bubble), parents can arrange for their children to share classes at a discounted price. Classes can consist of up to five children at a time.

Lessons will be held at your home and if the weather is nice, learning can be taken outside too.
