Two young local girls walk 300 miles to raise money for Easterleigh Animal Sanctuary

Easterleigh Animal Sanctuary has struggled during the pandemic as a huge source of their income is the charity shops (obviously these had to close) they were unable to re-home the animals as they ordinarily would so there income has taken a huge hit.

Abigail and Reegan are going to be studying animal care at college and have a passion for helping animals, Abigail regularly volunteers at the sanctuary and between them they wanted to help out wherever they could. The girls then came up with the idea of walking 300 miles in 30 days within the Blackpool and Fylde area to raise money and awareness for the charity.

Abi and Reegan are currently smashing their targets and we are encouraging people to share their progress and Gofundme page to help raise awareness and raise as much as possible, their current target is £500 but they are hoping to raise as much as possible. They also have a Facebook page where the public can follow their journey and show support.
