It’s a chilly start to February, with weather warnings issued.
Much of Lancashire is expected to have very low temperatures overnight and into the morning, however the coastal areas may escape the more severe weather.
Snow, sleet and freezing may affect Lytham and St.Anne’s, with an expected wind speed of around 16 miles per hour, making it feel far colder. Ice is expected on your windscreens and beware of black ice hot spots.
For those of you making an essential journey more inland, expect wintery conditions to be worse, and drive with caution.
