Around 8.35pm last night, the emergency services were called to Church Street in Blackpool where a care collided with a hairdressers.
Police, paramedics and fire crews attended the scene, where a 15 year old girl was found inside the Volkswagen Golf with an injured arm. The girl was treated at the scene and then taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital. There were no other casualties.
The fire crew took approximately thirty minutes to secure the building and ensure the scene was safe.
A police spokesman said: “We were called around 8.35pm yesterday (Monday, December 14) after a car was involved in a collision with a building in Church Street, Blackpool.
“Emergency services attended with a 15-year-old girl suffering an arm injury. She was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances around the collision.”
Police added that no-one has been arrested in connection with the crash.
A fire service spokesman added: “Blackpool firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on Church Street in Blackpool.
“The incident involved a car which had collided with a shop front. One casualty was treated by paramedics at the scene.
“Firefighters made the scene safe and helped ensure the building was secure. They were in attendance approximately thirty minutes.”
