Blackpool Transport are hosting two recruitment days for PCV & trainee bus drivers to join their friendly team. These special events will be held on Friday 27th & Saturday 28th of January at the Rigby Road Depot from 10 am until 3:30 pm.
Blackpool Transport have issued a cordial invitation to everyone interested to come along, have a look around, and find out about being a bus driver. There will be a range of modern buses available to look at, as well as the chance to have a chat with members of the team. They’ll be able to help visitors understand the role in more detail and share what it’s really like to work for an award-winning transport company.
And here’s the best part. Anyone who attends is GUARANTEED a screening interview on the day. You’ll be asked a bit about yourself and asked why you think you’d be the perfect bus driver. The HR department will then be in contact with successful candidates to organise a formal interview.
What do you need?
- A full clean driving licence for at least 12 months.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic regulations.
- Customer service and clear communication skills.
- Basic Maths and English skills are desirable.
- Good geographical knowledge.
Where to go?
The event will take place at the Rigby Road depot on Rigby Road (FY81 5DD) between 10 am – 3:30 pm on Friday 27th & Saturday 28th of January, there will be signage to point visitors in the right direction for registration.
There will be very limited on-site parking, so it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
