A Herd Of Thirty Elmer The Elephants Are Heading Towards Blackpool

At least 30 brilliant Elmer elephants will take over Blackpool this Spring in a major public art trail to raise money for Brian House Children’s Hospice.

The uniquely decorated Elmers will be positioned around key landmarks, streets, and open spaces in Blackpool for eight weeks. Everyone can simply download the dedicated app to discover all the locations and follow the trail to explore all of the bold and eye-catching large Elmers.

This amazing free outdoor walking trail will run from 13th April to 9th June 2024 and promises to be great for the  personal wellbeing for residents and visitors of all ages. It will also provide a welcome boost to the Fylde’s tourism and wider economy.

When their time in Blackpool has ended, the herd will join together for one time only for a special final farewell weekend in June. The large sculptures will then be auctioned to raise vital funds for the Fylde coast’s only children’s hospice, Brian House.

Opportunities are also open to sponsor an Elmer and be a leading part of this fun flagship event that will raise funds for Brian House Children’s Hospice and help us to care for our area’s most fragile children.
