A Turkish-themed night at the Anatolia Sea View restaurant on St Annes Promenade has raised over £2500 for the 2019 St Annes Carnival charity Marie Curie cancer care.
It was attended by 110 people. It included a three-course Turkish meal, Turkish themed games and dancing.
The biggest fund raiser was when the Anatolia owner and chef Veli Kirk auctioned his service to cook a Turkish three-course meal for 12 people in their own home. The final bid was £1400.
