A Wet & Windy Start To November For Lytham St Anne’s With A Yellow Weather Warning In Place

Lytham St. Anne’s is set to see a blustery start to November with the arrival of Storm Claudio meaning that the Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for wind, including 65 mph gales along our coast.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for our area which is currently in force until 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning (1st November). This means that the weather could risk causing disruption. Along with the strong winds in the early hours of the morning, Lytham St Anne’s residents can expect a wet night.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “A spell of very strong southerly or southwesterly winds will affect western coastal areas. Some further heavy rain is also likely during Wednesday.
