Both Blackpool Magistrates and Civil Court are currently closed because of a possible outbreak of Covid-19. The Court says that hearings are being re-listed and all parties affected will be duly contacted. Current contact numbers are given as 01772 884713 for civil queries and 01772 208018 for magistrates’ queries – but because of the Covid-19 outbreak it will take longer to answer enquiries – so only contact if absolutely necessary.
The doors on the Blackpool buildings are today locked and signs say ‘Closed until further notice.’ It is thought that the closure is the consequence of two security staff reporting symptoms of Covid-19.
