On 6.05pm on 3rd December, North West Ambulance Service informed the police of a four-month-old baby who had been found seriously injured at a property in Onslow Road, Layton.

The baby girl, named Willow Lee, was found seriously injured, and was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, and later transferred to Alder hey Children’s Hospital where she remained in a critical condition until Sunday 6th December, when she sadly died from her injuries.

The 28 year old man, Jordan Lee, from Blackpool was arrested for the attempted murder of his baby. Following the death of Willow, after consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Jordan has now been charged with her murder.

Jordan is set to appear before Preston Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (December 16th).
