This afternoon a male youth had an accident whilst riding his Quad bike on the playing fields, pictured in the attached image.
At first it was thought the youth had broken his leg after riding into a ditch.
Fortunately the youth only suffered a minor leg injury which resulted in him being taken to hospital as a precaution.
This is an ideal time to remind those who use this area of land to ride Scrambler bikes & Quad bikes, that this land is not for this use as it is used for the playing of sporting activities.
Anyone found contravening this are likely to be served a Section 59 notice and/or have their bikes seized.
