A Blackpool based community choir has released their second lockdown performance to YouTube. Following their first virtual performance, a cover of ‘Everybody’s Changing’ by Keane, BMS Contemporary Choir decided to do a second song after the members felt the benefits of singing together virtually.

This time the choir (with a cameo from Georgia the cat) performs a socially isolated rendition of ‘Stop Me From Falling’ by Kylie Minogue, a song the group had mastered before Covid-19 prevented their weekly rehearsals.

Choir member Suzanne says; “Being in the choir is such a lifeline, there is nothing like singing to lift the spirits. Having a close family bond is a real boost. If anyone is thinking about joining, I highly recommend it.”

The choir is welcoming new members, even during lockdown, and previous singing experience isn’t necessary. Those wishing to take part can send a message to the Facebook page (listed below) or alternatively can email bmscomchoir@gmail.com
