Boris Johnson has pulled out of his much anticipated planned visit to Lancashire after a family member tested positive for Covid, Downing Street has confirmed.

The Prime Minister was due to visit vaccine centres in Lancashire today.

 A spokesperson for No 10 said the Prime Minister would ‘follow the guidance for vaccinated close contacts, including daily testing and limiting contact with others’. Vaccinated contacts aren’t legally required to self-isolate, but are advised to take daily tests and ‘limit close contact with other people outside your household’.
