It has been reported that there will be no change to regulations in Lancashire, and that the counties towns, including Fylde, should expect to stay in tier 3 this December.
Other than the 4 day Christmas bubble window, Fylde along with the rest of Lancashire, will have to keep restaurants and bars shut, and remain within their Tier 3 zones.
Takeaway services from restaurants will continue, and most outdoor settings will remain banned.
Residents and workers in Blackpool and surrounding areas on the Fylde Coast all hoped that with the number of cases decreasing in the area, that the seaside town would be moved to Tier 2.
This will have an enormous impact on many businesses who held out hope that they would be able to open this December.
