Lytham St Anne’s resident Bobby Ball won’t have far to travel for his 2020 Christmas show – as it has been announced that Cannon and Ball will be featuring in a very special presentation for four nights – ‘An Audience with Cannon and Ball’ – at the Lowther Pavilion this year. The pre-Christmas show will run from Monday 14th December to Thursday 17th December.
Press releases say that the first half will feature the unforgettable Cannon & Ball as they recreate some of their legendary sketches and routines. Tommy and Bobby then open the second half with a song and tell stories of their career, after which they will open the microphone to the audience for ‘Questions and Answers’. This magical and intimate ‘Close and Upfront!’ evening will be a treat for all comedy fans of all ages
This new show has been announced following the Covid-19 postponement of Cannon and Ball’s 2020 pantomime ‘Sleeping Beauty’, which was to be presented at the Edwardian Lyceum Theatre in Crewe – instead this show will be staged in 2021.
