Jon Culshaw met up with Tracy and Charlotte Dawson in St. Anne’s prior to his show ‘Les Dawson: Flying High’ debuting at the Edinburgh Festival. Jon is preparing for his debut portraying Les, one of his lifelong comedy heroes, on Tuesday, August 3. The production then goes on tour from three months from September, culminating with two pre-Christmas shows on Saturday 10th December and Sunday 11th December at Lytham’s Lowther Pavilion.
Ormskirk born, Jon has joined forces with acclaimed writer Tim Whitnall and director Bob Golding to produce the new show, which is headlined as being ‘hilarious yet humbling, heightened yet grounded and poignant yet ultimately uplifting’.
