The Third Classic Car Rally organised in aid of the Rosemere Cancer Foundation will take place on Lytham Green on Sunday 27th June from 9.00 a.m. until 4.00 p.m. The rally organisers hope that selecting this date, which is just six days after all Covid restrictions will be lifted (June 21st), will ensure the popular event will go ahead. Last year the event was cancelled because of the pandemic.
When last held this event attracted well over 1,000 people to admire more than 100 vintage vehicles, raising £8,822 for the acute cancer triage unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
Organiser Edward Cook said: ‘It will be good to be back. It’s always a popular event in what is a magnificent setting and it is good to raise funds for a very important charity.’
The event will again be sponsored by local car garage, service and repair centre Auto Expert.
