Overnight road closures start tomorrow night on Common Edge Road from outside Trebaron Garden Centre to Queensway.

The road will be closed from Tuesday 30 May – Friday 2 June, between 9.00 p.m. and 6.00 a.m. Work is currently in the final stages to create the new road junction between Common Edge Road and Division Lane West, enabling access to the new £6m Common Edge Sports Village which includes 16 new football pitches, a car park, changing rooms and sports pavilion.

To safely resurface the area, an overnight road closure of Common Edge Road will be required from outside Trebaron Garden Centre to Queensway.  This resurfacing work will take place Tuesday 30 May – Friday 2 June between 9.00pm and 6.00am.

During this time, Division Lane East will only be accessible via the junction on Midgeland Road.

Once the resurfacing is complete, temporary lights will be reinstated between Saturday 3 June and Monday 5 June for final road linings prior to the works being completed.
