Winners of this year’s Asian Restaurant Awards were announced at a glitzy ceremony on Monday 31 July at the Hilton Manchester Piccadilly Hotel. The prestigious event was hosted by BBC newsreader Samantha Simonds and the awards were presented by MP Sir Graham Brady, chairman of the 1922 Committee. Top spots are decided by a combination of public votes and a judging panel.

And the very top award for the Best Asian Restaurant 2023 in the North of England went to The Zen Restaurant on Wood Street in St Anne’s.
