With a major role in the forthcoming drama involving Nina and Seb in Coronation Street, actress Harriett Bibby, who has taken over the role of Summer Spellman, grabbed the opportunity to celebrate her 23rd birthday in fine style in Blackpool – having a feast of fun at the Pleasure Beach. She shared her day at the seaside with the readers of this week’s Inside Soap magazine.

Young actress Harriett will be featured heavily in the long running soap over the next few weeks as her character Summer lets guilt gets the better of her – causing her to reveal her involvement that led to Corey Brent’s attack on Goth Nina and her boyfriend Seb. Corrie’s regular Archdeacon Billy Mayhew (and Summer’s guardian) insists that teenage, school girl Summer tells the Police everything she knows……… This storyline is going to have a long term aftermath, focussing on Summer and Kelly as the Police start their inquiries into what happened.
