Day-Time Pay & Display On The Way For The Promenade?

Consultations have today started on two proposals to introduce day-time pay and display parking along the Promenade together with other parking restrictions in Lytham St Anne’s.

The purpose of these wide ranging restrictions is ‘to encourage visitors to the resorts to use the off street parking facilities as far as possible in preference to parking on-street, so as to improve traffic flows’ and ‘to introduce measures to prevent anti-social overnight parking whilst still providing car parking for residents and visitors to the area.’

Peter Buckley, your County Councillor for St. Anne’s North, has shared this link where the full list of documents can be viewed and downloaded from the LCC website:

https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/…/proposed-traffic…/

Peter also adds that any representations or objections (specifying the grounds on which they are made) relating to the proposals must be made in writing and should be sent to The Director of Corporate Services, Lancashire County Council, P O Box 78, County Hall, Preston PR1 8XJ or by e-mail to tro-consultation@lancashire.gov.uk quoting reference LSG4\894.10968\AFR or LSG4\894.10877\AFR, depending on which proposal you are writing about.

Submissions must be sent before the 19 November 2020.

This is your opportunity to contact LCC highways and have your say either FOR or AGAINST the proposals and any other comments you wish to make.
